FM Insight is a standard product that is supplied as an add-on within SAP ECC 6.0 and higher.

The development of FM Insight is based on maximum usage of existing SAP functionalities. Additional functionalities are introduced as add-ons within a service-oriented architecture. On the one hand, NPQ develops the facility functionalities that are missing in SAP. On the other hand, the user interface is changed in such a way that some of the existing SAP processes can be recognised more easily by facility staff and are easier to use in facility processes.

FM Insight is provided via the SAP portal for both power users (facility staff) and employee users (end-users within the organisation). The solution is consistent with the release policy employed by SAP.
