Why FM for SAP?

Despite the extensive range of products offered by SAP, it appears there is still no widely-supported solution available for Facility Management at present. For facility processes, specialist standard solutions are available that meet the requirements of a facility organisation in terms of functions and ease of use. However, the possibilities of incorporating these processes in SAP are limited.

When using specific FM software (FMIS), such as that supplied by NPQ FM Solutions and various other suppliers, regular links are made to SAP during the implementation phase.

Standard software

In order to meet the need for a solution in SAP, NPQ is developing a standard application for Facility Management within SAP. This specific software line is sold under the name FM Insight. The application allows NPQ to combine its considerable experience and expertise in Facility Management within SAP’s existing architecture. This enables FM Insight to meet the functional wishes and requirements of facility organisations and also satisfy the requirements of IT departments with respect to consolidation within SAP, as a result of which interfaces are no longer required.
