NPQ and society

NPQ believes in corporate social responsibility. Striving for good results through sustainable working practices forms the basis for continuity and survival in the long run. It is impossible to achieve structural economic benefits if social and ecological aspects are not taken into consideration.

Environment

NPQ deals with environmental issues responsibly as a matter of course. Our approach is two-fold. All employees must be actively aware of environmental aspects in and around the work place. NPQ provides resources to enable its staff to work with due consideration for the environment.

Another approach is via the supply side. As a supplier of software for the Facility Management and Installation Engineering sectors, NPQ offers a range of solutions that enable its customers to engage in sustainable working practices. Reduction of CO2 emissions and monitoring of energy consumption are specific examples of this.

Knowledge sharing

Investing in the future is part of NPQ’s policy-making strategy. A central task of our organisation is to stimulate developments within our area of work. One of the ways we do this is to actively participate in various trade associations.

NPQ also invests in people. We share knowledge with students in the field through guest lectures and by making projects available for (final-year) work placements. In addition, we support various initiatives from students within technical and facility management fields.

NPQ also invests in staff on a continual basis. The advancement of staff members is a main focus of our staff policy. This enhances the working climate and increases loyalty. On the one hand, staff become motivated and on the other hand, opportunities are created for those entering the job market.

For NPQ, corporate social responsibility is a purposeful and continuous activity. In addition to the above issues, we continue to develop new initiatives in this area that help us achieve our organisational goals.
